Q: Can I use this service to pay for my online purchases?
A: No, because deema is Shariah-Compliant, it is only available for in-store (in-person) purchases for gold and jewelry.
Q: Can I use this service when I make a purchase in an exhibition or a pop up?
A: Yes, because deema is Shariah-Compliant, it is possible to use the service for in-person purchases in our exhibitions, pop ups and events.
Q: What about refunds and returns?
A: Refunds and return must comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry in the State of Kuwait which states that returns of jewelry must be within 24 hours of the purchase upon showing the original sales invoice and that the jewelry is not worn and is in the same condition as it was when purchased without any damage or fault. The refunds will not however be deposited in the clients account but handled with deema in accordance to their refund policy. Once we approve the refund, deema will process the refund, which will adjust or zero-out your remaining deema instalment balance.
Q: Are there any additional fees that I will be paying?
A: No, there are absolutely no interest or hidden charges.
Q: What happens if I miss a payment or forget to settle the instalment?
A: deema will send you reminders. Late payment terms are subject to deema’s policies.
Q: Who can use this service?
A: Anyone with a valid local ID and mobile number based on deema’s supported regions.
